Unlike the Up! 400 Kit, this set includes two higher-powered Quadralite Up! flashes rated at 300 Ws. Instead of a standard umbrella, it also provides a diffusion umbrella that combines the speed and convenience of an umbrella with some of the light-softening characteristics of a classic softbox.
Quadralite Up! 600 offers broad creative possibilities. Its Bowens S mount supports a wide range of light modifiers from Quadralite and other brands. Compact dimensions and low weight make transport and positioning in the studio easy. Flash output can be adjusted from 5.0 to 7.0 in 20 steps of 0.1 (4 EV, 1/1–1/16). At minimum power, flash duration is just 1/2000 s and recycling time only 0.3 s. The unit is fully compatible with the Quadralite Navigator wireless-control system.
