Quadralite Reporter 360 TTL for NikonProduct description
Quadralite Reporter 360 TTL is a powerful, portable flash compatible with automatic TTL flash metering and fully integrated with the Quadralite Navigator X radio-control system. TTL automation enables fast and convenient flash photography even in rapidly changing lighting conditions. It is a complete tool with an efficient battery, wireless remote control and support for a wide range of light modifiers.
Reporter 360 TTL works fully with Navigator X transmitters as well as Stroboss and Atlas flashes. It can operate as a remotely controlled and triggered Slave or as a Master controlling other Navigator X-compatible flashes, while retaining TTL automation and HSS synchronization.
Reporter 360 TTL can synchronize at shutter speeds as fast as 1/8000 s. This is especially useful when combining flash with fast lenses outdoors. HSS is a key feature for location portrait and wedding photography in strong ambient light.
Thanks to the Navigator X remote-control system, the flash can be used with almost all popular interchangeable-lens camera systems. Even though the foot on the flash body is system-specific, the unit can still be used successfully with cameras such as the Sony A7III or Fujifilm X-T3. TTL automation and HSS synchronization remain fully functional.
Reporter 360 TTL combines the capabilities of a mains-powered studio flash approaching 400 Ws with the portability of an on-camera flash. Unlike typical speedlights, however, it is approximately five to seven times more powerful, making it useful even in strong ambient light.
Reporter 360 TTL delivers studio-flash light quality while remaining compact and highly mobile. It can easily be packed into almost any backpack or camera bag and taken to locations without access to mains electricity.
Reporter 360 TTL provides not only studio-level power but also studio-level light quality. Unlike conventional speedlights, it uses a protruding, protected bare-bulb flash tube that can fill even large softboxes effectively, making full use of their surface. Umbrellas, reflectors and beauty dishes can likewise be used very efficiently with Reporter 360 TTL.
Using the Quadralite Reporter S-holder adapter also makes the flash compatible with modifiers designed for studio flashes. The adapter features a Bowens mount and can support even large softboxes up to 120 cm.
The flash is powered by the Quadralite PowerPack 45 lithium-ion battery supplied in the set. It offers a high capacity of 4.5 Ah while remaining compact and lightweight. The battery module itself is replaceable, and recharging a depleted unit takes approximately 3 hours. If needed, the slightly larger but higher-capacity Reporter PowerPack 58 (5.8 Ah) is also available separately and provides more than 650 full-power flashes.
