Quadralite Atlas 600 TTLProduct description
Atlas 600 TTL is a studio flash that can work with compatible cameras using automatic TTL flash metering*. This is useful when shooting scenes with rapidly changing lighting conditions, both in the studio and on location. Maximum flash energy is 600 Ws and can be adjusted across an 8-stop range from 1/1 to 1/256, making it easy to match output to a wide variety of subjects. The flash is battery powered and does not require a mains connection, increasing its versatility outside the studio. High-speed synchronization also makes it possible to use wide apertures and shallow depth of field in strong ambient light.
Atlas 600 TTL has a built-in receiver for the Quadralite Navigator X radio system, so no additional radio receiver needs to be connected. A 3.5 mm Jack sync socket is also available for use with other types of remote triggers. The flash additionally includes a dedicated socket for Quadralite Navigator system receivers.
Atlas 600 TTL can be used with the 600 Ws Atlas FH600 remote flash head. This allows the head and modifier to be placed high on a stand while the main flash body remains within easy reach. When more than 600 Ws is required, two Atlas 600 TTL units can be connected to the 1200 Ws Atlas FH1200 flash head.
The flash is powered by an Atlas PowerPack lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 8.7 Ah. A fully charged battery provides approximately 450 full-power flashes. The battery is replaceable, allowing extended work far from mains power. Charging is performed with the included mains charger and takes about 4 hours.
Thanks to its Bowens accessory mount, the flash can be used with a wide range of light modifiers such as reflectors, softboxes and umbrellas. The stand bracket allows the tilt angle to be adjusted and is compatible with most studio light stands.
