Thea LED 170 panels are designed specifically for mobile applications. LEDs with a color-rendering index of CRI >85 produce up to 390 lx at 1 m of high-quality, flicker-free light with a color temperature of approximately 5500 K. A control panel on the rear is used to adjust brightness.
Dedicated white and yellow diffusers allow the entire panel surface to emit light evenly. As a result, Thea LED 170 can illuminate a scene without the unwanted effect of multiple shadows.
Thea LED 170 combines high functionality with compact dimensions and low weight. The panel weighs only 420 g and is just 45 mm deep. It includes a tilt-adjustable mounting bracket with a quick-mount system compatible with an ISO camera shoe and standard stands.
Thea LED 170 panels are powered by widely available Sony NP-F970 (7.4 V) video batteries. Panasonic VBG6 batteries can also be used with an optional adapter sold separately, and eight AA batteries are another power option. With the separately available Quadralite PowerPack Lx cable, the panel can also be connected to a Quadralite PowerPack 58 battery with a capacity of 5800 mAh.
