Quadralite Stroboss 36 Fuji flashProduct description
Quadralite Stroboss 36 is a small, lightweight flash with a guide number of 36, ideally suited to mirrorless and compact cameras. It weighs only 200 g and, when mounted on the camera with the head facing forward, is just 95 mm high. Despite its size, the head rotates through 270° horizontally and 97° vertically, giving plenty of freedom to bounce flash from ceilings and walls in both portrait and landscape camera orientation.
An important feature of Quadralite Stroboss 36 is the built-in Navigator X transmitter, which allows it to act as a Master controller for other Quadralite flashes such as Pulse Pro X, Atlas 600 and 600 TTL, Reporter 360 TTL, Stroboss 60 and Stroboss 36. It can also be switched to Slave mode and controlled remotely from a Navigator X transmitter or from Stroboss 60 and 36 flashes.
Stroboss 36 offers three operating modes. TTL automatically selects the required flash power and works with the camera’s automatic and semi-automatic exposure modes. Manual mode gives the user direct control over flash energy across a 7-stop range in 1/3-stop increments. Multi mode provides stroboscopic flashes for creative images made with longer exposure times.
The flash supports synchronization at shutter speeds up to 1/8000 s, particularly useful for outdoor sessions in strong ambient light. Stroboss 36 also provides a very short flash duration, reaching 1/20000 s (t0.1) at minimum power.
Stroboss 36 has automatic and manual zoom from 24 to 105 mm. When a wider field needs to be illuminated, the built-in wide-angle diffuser provides coverage equivalent to approximately 15 mm. The head also includes a white bounce card. An additional softening cap is supplied for direct-flash use, and the standard set is completed by a stand and convenient carrying pouch.
Quadralite Stroboss 36 is powered by two AA batteries. With fully charged rechargeable batteries, the flash can deliver up to 210 full-power flashes. A Micro USB port located inside the battery compartment is used for updating the flash firmware.
Quadralite Stroboss 36 is now available for Sony, Canon, Nikon, Micro Four Thirds (Olympus and Panasonic), Fujifilm and Pentax systems.
