Quadralite Atlas 400 Pro TTLProduct description
This flash features very short recycling times, high efficiency and consistent flash output throughout the entire power range. It is a highly versatile tool capable of meeting demanding professional requirements. The built-in Navigator X receiver enables remote control and triggering, including TTL automation and HSS up to 1/8000 s, at distances of up to 100 m. Compatibility with automatic TTL flash metering also makes the unit suitable for rapidly changing shooting conditions.
A key feature of the Atlas 400 Pro TTL is its excellent stability and repeatability across the entire flash-energy range. When maximum precision and light consistency are required, the user can activate Color Mode. In this setting, regardless of the selected power level, the flash maintains color temperature within ±75 K. In standard mode, color-temperature variation is specified at 5600 ±200 K.
The flash can deliver long sequences of flashes regardless of operating mode and recycles extremely quickly. After a full-power flash, the Atlas 400 Pro TTL is ready again in 1.5 s.
The short flash duration makes the unit suitable for freezing fast-moving subjects. The minimum flash duration of the Atlas 400 Pro TTL is just 1/12340 s (t0.1 at 1/256 power), which is sufficient for the vast majority of applications.
The flash uses a newly designed flash tube that makes efficient use of the available light modifiers. A glass cover protects it from mechanical damage. The front of the cover is made of white, frosted glass to promote even light distribution. The flash tube is replaceable and can be changed without additional tools.
Atlas 400 Pro TTL features a 30 W LED modeling light, equivalent to approximately a 360 W halogen bulb. It can be controlled manually or set to operate proportionally to the selected flash energy.
Atlas 400 Pro TTL is powered by a 2.6 Ah lithium-ion battery that provides up to 350 full-power flashes on a full charge. A depleted battery can be replaced easily, and charging takes approximately 3 hours with the charger supplied in the set.
Atlas 400 Pro TTL uses the Godox light-modifier bayonet, while Bowens-system accessories can also be fitted using the adapter included in the set. The flash can additionally be used with optional accessories such as the Atlas Pro FH400 flash head and Atlas 400 Pro AC Adapter (both sold separately).
The flash housing is made from high-quality plastic. The large LCD remains easy to read even in bright ambient light. The light-modifier mount and stand bracket are made of metal for high structural strength. The bracket provides stepless tilt adjustment and is strong enough to support large softboxes up to 120 cm.
Because the flash includes a Navigator X radio-system receiver, it can be used with almost all popular interchangeable-lens camera systems. TTL flash automation and HSS synchronization remain available; the only requirement is to use the Navigator X transmitter designed for the relevant camera brand.
