Quadralite Reporter 200 Pro TTLProduct description
Reporter 200 Pro TTL combines the advantages of portable on-camera flashes with the efficiency and light quality associated with studio flash units. It can operate in automatic TTL mode or manual mode (M), while the built-in Navigator X radio receiver enables remote control. The flash is fully compatible with accessories previously available for the Reporter 200 TTL.
Winner of the “Lighting Accessory of the Year 2020” award
Reporter 200 Pro TTL is almost as powerful as four on-camera flashes with a guide number of 50. This provides enormous creative freedom for shaping, bouncing and controlling light. Thanks to its high output, Reporter 200 Pro TTL performs equally well on location and in the studio.
The flash stands out for its very compact size and low weight. The body itself weighs only 600 g, making it easy to carry almost anywhere. Its compact construction means the Reporter will fit into nearly any backpack, camera bag or even a large pocket.
Reporter 200 Pro TTL can be configured extensively to suit different shooting needs. Its interchangeable heads allow the light characteristic to be changed depending on the desired effect. Two heads are supplied in the box: type A with a Fresnel lens and type B with an exposed bare-bulb tube. Optional accessories include a round head and a continuous-light head (type C). A 1.5 m extension cable is also available, allowing the head to be mounted on the camera shoe or a stand while the flash body remains in a pocket or bag.
The flash offers an exceptionally wide flash-energy adjustment range from 200 to 0.8 Ws. This provides great flexibility, allowing Reporter 200 Pro TTL to be used both in the studio and on location while matching ambient light precisely. Output can also be adjusted in 0.1-stop increments for extremely precise control.
Reporter 200 Pro TTL provides excellent flash stability and repeatability throughout its power range. When maximum precision and light consistency are required, Color Mode can be activated. In this setting the flash maintains color temperature within ±100 K regardless of the selected output.
The flash is powered by a 2.9 Ah (14.4 V) lithium-ion battery that delivers up to 500 full-power flashes on a full charge. The battery can be replaced quickly when depleted, and charging takes up to 3 hours.
Because the flash includes a Navigator X radio-system receiver, it can be used with almost all popular interchangeable-lens camera systems. TTL flash automation and HSS synchronization remain available; the only requirement is to use the Navigator X transmitter designed for the relevant camera brand.
