Reporter S2-holder is a lightweight, compact holder for speedlites and Reporter flashes, developed from the earlier S-holder. The updated design supports flashes with round heads and allows Bowens-mount studio modifiers to be used with portable units.
It is an ideal tool for off-camera flash users who want to expand the possibilities of their portable flashes. The holder is designed especially for Reporter and Stroboss models.
The holder secures the flash with a clamp around the head. This solution is safer and more universal than mounting through the hot shoe and makes better use of the flash output. It also leaves the flash shoe free for a radio trigger and removes the need for additional cables.
Removable inserts inside the holder allow it to be configured for either conventional rectangular flash heads or round-head flashes.
The holder also supports Bowens-mount studio light modifiers. An umbrella socket and tilt adjustment are built in, and the complete unit can be mounted on a standard studio light stand.
