Join a portrait-photography workshop with Maja Kupidura. Learn lighting, composition, working with models and efficient retouching in a practical studio session.
On 14 March we invite you to a portrait photography workshop with Maja Kupidura at Astra photographic studio.
Participants will explore perspective, lighting, composition, props, backgrounds and retouching. The workshop combines theory with practical shooting and direct feedback from an experienced photographer. Working with a model also provides valuable practice in communication and directing.
This workshop is for you if:
- you normally use only one flash and a small selection of modifiers,
- you are unsure how to control several lights independently,
- you want to feel more confident with lamp and transmitter settings,
- you want to understand the full potential of your lights,
- you want to combine continuous and flash light,
- retouching takes too much of your time,
- you want to improve skin tones and portrait retouching.
Why take part in portrait photography training?
Maja will explain Quadralite lights and their capabilities so you can choose the right tools for your work. You will explore several modifiers, learn when and how to use them and build at least three one- and two-light setups. The knowledge can later be applied to feminine, maternity, family and artistic photography. Efficient image processing will also be covered.

Instructor: Maja Kupidura
Maja has been connected with photography since childhood, inspired by her parents, who are photographers and photography teachers. After the birth of her son she became deeply involved in children's photography, later expanding into portrait, sensual and fine-art work. She runs her own studio, where she photographs and teaches.
