Will a Quadralite studio flash work with my camera?+
Yes, with almost any camera fitted with a sync socket or hot shoe. Check the camera manual for its exact flash-sync options.
How do I trigger a studio flash?+
Use a sync cable. If the camera has no sync socket, use the optical slave or a radio trigger.
How do I trigger a Quadralite flash with the optical slave?+
Enable the optical slave. If the camera emits a metering pre-flash, select the mode that ignores it. Keep a clear line of sight; strong ambient light can reduce reliability.
Can Quadralite flashes be triggered by radio?+
Yes. Units with a sync socket work with a suitable radio receiver. Many models also support Navigator Kit or Navigator X; TTL and HSS depend on the camera, flash and system version.
Which flashes work with Navigator Kit?+
Navigator Kit supports Pulse, Pulse Pro, Move, Move Pro, Up!, Pulse Pro X, Pulse X, Move X, Up! X, Rx400 and Reporter 180/360/360 TTL/200 TTL/200 Pro TTL. Fomex and older Quantuum R+, PT and T require an external transmitter and receiver.
Which flashes work with Navigator X?+
Navigator X, X2 and X Plus work directly with Stroboss 36/36evo/60 Basic/60/60evo/V1, Reporter 200 TTL/200 Pro TTL/360 TTL, Atlas 600/600 TTL/400 Pro TTL/600 Pro TTL, Up! X, Move X, Pulse X and Pulse Pro X. Other flashes can use additional receivers.
Will a Quadralite flash work in an automatic camera mode?+
Manual studio flashes work best with the camera in M mode. For automatic flash exposure, choose a compatible TTL version of Stroboss, Reporter TTL or Atlas TTL.
Which light modifiers fit Quadralite studio flashes?+
Quadralite studio flashes use the Bowens mount. Check the modifier's dimensions, weight and the permitted load before purchase.
How do I control the modelling light from Navigator X?+
On compatible units, including Atlas 600, Atlas 600 Pro TTL and Pulse X, quickly press CH twice to toggle the modelling light on flashes using the same channel.
How do I enable One Page Layout on Navigator X?+
Hold CH for about five seconds. GR selects the next group, double-pressing GR selects the previous one, the dial changes settings and CH confirms. Repeat to restore the standard layout.
How do I enable autofocus assist on Navigator X2 S?+
Enable automatic AF assist in the camera, update the transmitter, set C.Fn → AF to ILCE and switch on the assist light. Availability depends on the camera and firmware.
How do I use Wireless ID with Navigator X C/N/S receivers?+
Update the receiver firmware. With the receiver off, hold GR and CH while switching it on, select the ID, then wait at least five seconds without pressing a button so it can be saved.
Where can a Quadralite flash be repaired?+
