Wave Beauty Dish – a New Quadralite Light Modifier

The Wave Beauty Dish joins the Quadralite family of light modifiers, distinguished by its characteristic rippled profile.

Wave produces sculpted, contrasty light while gently filling shadows. Compared with a conventional beauty dish, its effect is somewhat softer while retaining the characteristic qualities of this type of modifier. Its unique shape keeps the light well directed and relatively contrasty, while subtle shadow fill produces more evenly illuminated images.

Quadralite Wave is supplied without a mount. With separately available adapters it can therefore be used with flashes from several manufacturers, including Bowens, Profoto, Elinchrom and Broncolor. Adapters are secured with four screws and can be changed without special tools. Wave is available in 42, 55 and 70 cm sizes and in white or silver finishes. Optional grids provide even more precise control over spill on set.
