Quadralite VideoLED 1000 Bi-Color

A new version of the proven Quadralite VideoLED series adds adjustable color temperature from 3200 K to 5600 K. This continuous studio light is designed for both photography and video. Its popular Bowens mount provides access to a wide range of compatible light modifiers.

VideoLED Bi-color offers a high color-rendering index (Ra ≥96). A built-in quiet cooling fan allows the lamp to be used for video without interfering with sound recording. Thanks to its low operating temperature, it can be paired without restrictions with common studio accessories such as snoots, barn doors, reflectors, softboxes and umbrellas. It is also highly efficient, consuming far less power than a halogen lamp of comparable brightness. The LEDs are rated for up to 50,000 hours of operation, equivalent to about 5.5 years of continuous use.

Unlike lights from many other manufacturers, VideoLED Bi-color uses a new type of LED chip to achieve higher light output than the standard version. This improves performance in more demanding lighting conditions and broadens the range of possible applications.

VideoLED Bi-color is a compact, portable and lightweight lamp that combines high efficiency with low power consumption. Its solid metal housing and robust stand mount provide a durable platform for use with a broad range of light modifiers.

Powered from the mains, VideoLED Bi-color is intended primarily for studio use. It is an excellent starting point for users beginning to work with artificial lighting in photography or video. Operation is simple and intuitive, making it possible to learn lighting techniques quickly without first mastering all the concepts associated with flash synchronization or flash metering.
